Mr. Javier Magallon start its musical career at the age of ten , with its father Mr. Amador Magallon, that was one of the best guitarroneros of its age in all the state of Colima. Mr. Amador in that time tapeworm his called mariachi Magallon , and was made up of Mr. Javier and his two older brothers  Jose and Amador, and other members. Javier, under the trusteeship of its father, learn to play all the instruments that compose a mariachi: trumpet, violin, guitarron, vihuela, and guitar. At the age of 15 , its work with its father then in consequence of the death of its father stops, Javier decide to go away to prove luck to the city of Mexico.

In the Mexican capital enter the School of the Only Union of Music workers of the of Republic of Mexico  (SUTMRM), which basic served to get to work with the best local mariachis. Beginning its professional race in " Latin mariachi of Mexico" , where he work hard two years like second trumpet. He accompany many artists of international fame like: Miguel Aceves Mejia and Amalia Mendoza, to mention some.

In 1978, work with the Mariachi Mexico 70 of Pepe Lopez, already like first trumpet. In that time they were the exclusive mariachi of Juan Gabriel,  and tours to every presentations with these famous artist.

In the year 1979 work with Mariachi Perla de Occidente. Being part of the Folkloric Ballet of Amalia Hernandez they accompanied, it in its artistic tours, proudly representing the Tierra Mexicana, in several countries like: France, Germany, Spain, Venezuela, and Chile.

In 1990 Mr. Magallon,  found the Mariachi Colima in the city of  Oakland California of which he is proprietor, and its present chief of a main directorate and arreglista musical. With his own musical adjustments, Javier, next to his Mariachi Colima, at the moment he is the exclusive mariachi of the Mexican Folkloric Ballet of Mr. Carlos Moreno, they accompany and it to all presentations, including its annual function of " Christmas in Mexico".

Javier, also was a member in 70 ' s of the Mariachi Corona of
Manzanillo Colima. Being in those times and several decades the best Mariachi of the State of Colima, Javier was one of the best trompetistas and violinists in those times, of the age in which, the Mariachi Corona work for three years with the  idol Don Vicente Fernandez in several palenques in the Mexican Republic, Also next to Mrs. Vicky Carr.
